Dr. Ronniette Garcia-Leifert received her dental degree in Caracas, Venezuela at the Universidad Central of Venezuela in 1999. In 2003, she obtained her specialty certification in Orthodontics from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. While attending her orthodontic post-doctorate residency program, Dr. Garcia-Leifert served as president of her orthodontic class and as a teaching fellow for the pre-doctoral dental students.

Following her orthodontic residency, Dr. Garcia-Leifert returned to dental school at Columbia University and received a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (D.D.S.) in 2007 and served as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Orthodontics until 2012. Dr. Garcia-Leifert has worked in several private orthodontic practices in NYC and is now working with her husband, Dr. Michael Leifert, and her father-in-law, Dr. Melvyn Leifert, in their private orthodontic practice in Greenwich Village, NYC.
Dr. Garcia-Leifert has published continuing education articles, lectured extensively to dental and orthodontic residents at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, and has provided seminars in ethics for the dental students at NYU College of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Garcia- Leifert is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, a Fellow of the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontics and a Fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy of Dentistry. She is an active member of the following organizations:

Dr. Garcia-Leifert has been living in NYC for over 20 years. She is happily married to her husband, Michael, and they are proud parents of their daughter, Isabella.
